Boushehri disclosed the company will serve as the investment arm of PAHW to replace the Investment Affairs and Private Sector Projects Department, stressing that the latter will continue operating until the completion of procedures for establishing the company. She said the aim of establishing the company includes expediting work procedures in different departments at PAHW and minimizing circulation of documents. Sources said PAHW has warned the contractor that in case the delay exceeds 20 percent, the project will be withdrawn from him; clarifying that this came after the contractor delayed implementation by 15 percent.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Electricity and Water has asked the Central Tenders Committee (CTC) to approve the tender for the establishment of nine fresh water towers in Al-Metla’a Housing City, revealing that the project will be implemented within 36 months and the towers will be operational by January 2021, reports Al-Jarida daily quoting sources.
