PACI adds feature in app for domestic workers

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 21: The General Director of the Public Authority for Civil Information, Musaed Al-Asousi, stated that the PACI is always keen to develop programs and applications which would ease work of citizens and expats and facilitate procedures to complete all transactions.

Al-Asousi stated that PACI launched a new update for my identity application that includes domestic workers (Article 20), whose number exceeds more than 765,000 according to the latest statistics, so that they can use the application of my identity to prove their identity which is  a digital alternative to the civil card. The application of my identity can be used to complete transactions as well as to enter and exit through the border crossings, especially with the plan of the Council of Ministers regarding the return of domestic workers to Kuwait.

  Al-Asousi  stated that My Identity application was downloaded by more than 1 million and 100,000 users  who are using it to prove their identity in completion of government and private transactions, as well as to exit and enter Kuwait
