Owner of firm sponsors 86 people after ‘forging’ contract with MoE

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 3: The Kuwaiti owner of a general trading and contracting company has disappeared after he manipulated and forged a contract with the Ministry of Education and sponsored 86 workers on that contract, reports Al-Rai daily. According to a security source, when relevant authorities in Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor received information about a suspicious contract, securitymen conducted investigations and coordinated with Ministry of Education to discover the contract was forged. They are currently conducting investigations of the companies owned by the suspect after discovering that he has disappeared. The workers under the sponsorship of the fake government contract will be seized and referred to the Public Prosecution

2 women arrested: Two Sri Lankan women were arrested for trading in international calls from an apartment in Khaitan area, reports Al-Anba daily. When Farwaniya securitymen received information about their activities, they conducted investigations and obtained a warrant. They raided the apartment and confiscated the communication devices. The two women were arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.
