KUWAIT CITY, Feb 29: Ooredoo Kuwait, a member of the international Ooredoo Group, organized a special ceremony to honor its official distributers who have achieved the highest sales in 2015. The event was held at Ooredoo’s headquarters and was attended by a number of distributers representatives and a number of Ooredoo senior managers.

This ceremony is considered to be a gratitude gesture to the company’s official distributers and partners for their outstanding performance in 2015 and the desired results they achieved. During the ceremony, Chief Sales Officer, Tamer Shibl and Senior Director of Direct Sales, Yousef Dashti awarded the winners with the highest sales figures on the most recent prepaid products launched over the past year, along with certificates of appreciation and trophies.

The top ten official distributers received KD 1,000 worth of prizes, another 20 winners received various cash prizes. The grand prize was a Ford Mustang 2016, and was won by The British Telecom Company who achieved the highest sales on selected products including highest sales percentage.

The level and standards of performance where measured by the latest inventory management systems and sales monitoring systems, that is used exclusively by Ooredoo Kuwait operations department to secure the highest sales through different point of sales.

Commenting on the event, Yousef Dashti said: “We are pleased to host our partners and official distributors in this event to honor them for the ongoing support they provide us with and their contribution to the success of our business. Ooredoo and its partners have been working together for so many years and we are looking forward to further collaborate with each one of them in the very near future.”

Over the past months, Ooredoo had launched new pre-paid packages to meet the various needs of its customers, such as XPlus package, XL package and Xpat packages. The company has obtained a unique method in distributing products to retail shops through a Kuwaiti team who are trained and educated to develop new and effective distribution methods to different locations that have a positive impact on the sales results.
