KUWAIT CITY, May 30: One person was injured following a collision between a yacht and a 25-foot cruiser off Kubbar Island, reports Al-Seyassah daily. Acting on information personnel from the Shuaiba Maritime Center and the Salmiya Maritime Rescue team rushed to the side and rescued five people who were in the boat. The injured was handed over to the personnel from the Emergency Medical Services affiliated to the Ministry of Health. The damaged vessel was towed to the shore and the cruiser was prevented from sinking by maritime personnel by continuously pumping out the water. The cause of the accident is not known.
