Officer nabbed for appearing in a video clip with semi naked woman

KUWAIT CITY, June 15: The General Administration of Supervision and Inspection of the Ministry of Interior have arrested a policeman working for the Special Forces for appearing in a video clip which has gone viral in the social media showing a semi-naked young woman in back seat of his car, reports Al-Rai daily. The policeman is said to have brought disrepute to his uniform, his profession and to his department and violated the sanctity of the holy month of Ramadan The daily added, the woman has also been arrested and both are expected to be severely punished.

 Syrian held with drugs: Security operatives from Farwaniya Security Command arrested a Syrian national in Khaitan area in possession of illicit drugs. The officers were on a round of the aforementioned area when they came across a tinted-glass vehicle and ordered the driver to pull up for checking. They found illicit drugs underneath the car seat and referred the suspect to concerned authorities for necessary action. Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti citizen involved in a drug-related case was arrested by security operatives in Ardiya Industrial Area while standing by the roadside. He was taken to relevant authorities for further investigation.

Citizen assaulted: A Kuwaiti man was beaten and severely injured by his compatriot in South Sabahiya area. He was referred to a hospital for treatment. Later on, the injured citizen went to the area police station and filed a complaint against the compatriot who allegedly assaulted him without cause. He provided medical report to support the allegation. A case was registered. Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti citizen lodged a complaint against a person who threw stones at his vehicle and damaged the glass intentionally in Sabahiya area. A case was registered. And, a Bangladeshi expatriate presented medical report to officers at Jleeb Shuyoukh police station accusing two expatriates of beating and causing him severe injury. A case was registered.

❑ ❑ ❑ Fraudsters held: Police have arrested two Kuwaiti women believed to be in their early 30s and are looking for a third one who is still at large for using the civil IDs of their friends to purchase goods – smart phones, electrical devices, rent cars and abandon them without paying, reports Al-Rai daily.
