OAPEC and KNPC to exchange experiences

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 10: Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC) Secretary General Ali Bin Sabt announced Thursday an agreement for a joint working group with the Kuwait National Petroleum Corporation (KNPC) to exchange experiences in the refining sector. Sabt said after his meeting with KNPC Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Waleed Al-Bader that the company is one of the main pillars of the oil industry in Kuwait and has a prestigious reputation at the Arab and international levels.

He added Al-Badr was briefed on the activities of the General Secretariat in the field of economic and technical studies specialized in the petroleum industry, among them studies is subsequent petroleum industries, which (OAPEC) has on it’s website. The meeting also reviewed aspects of joint cooperation between the two sides, and agreed to form a joint working group to set up a mechanism to increase cooperation in digital libraries, oil information, research and development in an effort to achieve integration. , (KUNA)
