KUWAIT CITY, March 2: Once again, Northern Gulf has received the ISO Standard 9001:2008 certification, thanks to its application of rigorous quality standards in the management of new car sales, and after intensive auditing by the issuing authority, Bureau Veritas.
The certification ceremony was held at Hyundai’s showroom in Shuweikh, in the presence of senior Northern Gulf management and the ISO certification team. The ISO Standard is considered to be one of the world’s most important quality certifications. The certificate was received by Raed Turjuman, the company’s CEO, who proceeded to thank everyone in attendance, and to acknowledge the hard work put in by the Hyundai team in ensuring that Northern Gulf delivered on the standards required by the certifying authority.
During a speech he orated during the ceremony, Turjuman expressed Northern Gulf’s pride in this latest achievement, asserting that the new certification reconfirms its commitment to global quality standards. He added that the company would remain committed to developing its management processes even further to help strengthen the brand’s equity in the local market and to improve its overall service quality.
On the occasion, the Certification Department’s Manager at Bureau Veritas – Abay Sraya – added that Northern Gulf applied the standards set by the certification board stringently, noting that Bureau Veritas’s work entailed ensuring certified parties continued to apply these standards in their everyday business, and not just at one singular point in time.
Northern Gulf’s achievements and accolades extend beyond quality certification to include a host of customer-centric services and offers. The company expends tremendous effort in developing strategies and campaigns to guarantee customer satisfaction both before and after the sale process, in line with Hyundai’s global strategy, and to bolster its position as a leading automotive brand that has been able to compete with older legacy brands in record time.
