No to wasta-based appointments

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 5: The recruitment committees in the state bodies and institutions, especially the independent ones, witness interventions from politicians and leadership for the appointment of their relatives, particularly after the services of 560 experts from Ministry of Justice’s Experts Department were terminated based on a verdict issued by the Court of Cassation, reports Al-Qabas daily.

According to informed sources, members of the recruitment committees in governmental institutions have requested the leaderships to stop all forms of intervention in the new appointment, fearing a repetition of the ongoing crisis as it could result in those responsible being sent to the Public Prosecution and the possible end of their career.
