‘No leniency for lawbreakers, deportation for two Egyptians in fighting’


KUWAIT CITY, Nov 16: Acting Undersecretary for Public Security in the Ministry of Interior Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah issued a decision to deport two Egyptians who fought at the Fruits and Vegetables Market and caused mayhem in violation of Kuwaiti laws.

The Operations Room of the Interior Ministry received report about a public brawl at the onion section of fruits and vegetable market and deployed a team of security operatives and paramedics to the scene. The officers apprehended members of the feuding parties.

Initial investigation revealed the issue started by a simple misunderstanding and escalated to exchange of blows. They also discovered the two expatriates are Egyptians. Necessary action was taken and orders have since been issued to deport them. A security source said the authorities have issued instructions to strictly deal with lawbreakers without leniency.
