No increase in ‘salaries’ of military men, police, National Guard and firefighting personnel?

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 18: The Ministry of Finance said what was ‘published’ recently that the salaries of military men, police, National Guard and firefighting personnel have been raised is incorrect calling the news baseless rumors, reports Al-Rai daily.

The source said the Finance Ministry has yet to look deep into the proposal submitted by a committee comprising representatives from the ministries of Defense and Interior, the HQ of the National Guard, and the Kuwait Fire Service Directorate to amend the unified system of allowances, additional bonuses and increments for the various military authorities – officers, noncommissioned officers and individuals.
