No housing applications for South Sabah Al-Ahmad City after Aug 10

KUWAIT CITY, July 30: The Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW) affirmed applications from housing applicants for the allocation of plots in South Sabah Al-Ahmad City project will not be received after August 10, reports Al-Qabas daily. According to informed sources, the suspension happened due to the surplus in preparing applicants for privatization, whose total amounted to about 8,000 applications. The remaining plots of the housing project were only 4,300.

The increase in the number of those who were allocated exceeded 3,700. The project sits on an area of 6150 hectares, consists of 20,380 housing units distributed over 11 suburbs, and includes 388 service buildings in 130 locations, including fuel stations, municipal buildings, community development centers and shops.
