Garbage being dumped in front of one of the buildings in Shuwaikh area

During a field visit the team saw garbage piled up in several areas and in some cases it appeared the garbage had not been lifted for several months. In some areas dogs and cats were seen sifting for food unperturbed.

The condition in some areas is pathetic and detrimental to health and gives a bad image for the cultural landscape which clearly shows laxity on the part of the cleaning companies. Eng. Al-Baghli said violations are evident and said it is necessary to follow up on the work of the cleaning companies.
