He also requested for KD 5,001 as temporary compensation and legal fees.
Duo acquitted: The Misdemeanor Court chaired by Judge Abdullah Al-Babtain acquitted two citizens of assaulting a driver on Beirut Street and damaging his car. Representing the defendants, Lawyer Ali Al-Harzi affirmed that investigations did not provide any substantial evidence to prove that one of his clients or both were involved, indicating the testimonies given are not enough to convict the defendants due to lack of evidence. He added that some mistakes were committed on the road and investigations were conducted to determine whether or not the damage was caused while the vehicle was moving or in a standstill.
KGOC sanctioned: The Cassation Court ordered Kuwait Gulf Oil Company (KGOC) to pay road compensation to all Kuwaiti employees working in the Divided Zone retroactively from June 2013 and to continue the payment henceforth.
