KUWAIT CITY, Jan 27: Kuwait is currently preparing to file new lawsuits against the fugitive former Director of the Public Institute for Social Security Fahd Al-Raja’an, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting reliable sources. The sources pointed out that the Fatwa and Legislation Department had filed all cases before the British courts including lawsuits filed against Al-Raja’an, including concerning illegal money stacked in Swiss banks.

Fahd Al-Raja’an, the former director of the Public Institution for Social Security a precondition for his extradition to Kuwait.

The source added, “The British courts confirmed that they do not have jurisdiction over lawsuits filed against Swiss banks, and therefore new lawsuits will be filed before Swiss courts.” The source indicated all money embezzled by Al- Raja’an and deposited abroad have been frozen, and “we are now filing new lawsuits to recover this money.
