New coronavirus cases: 121 in Saudi; 228 in Qatar; 277 in UAE

DOHA, April 6 (KUNA) Saudi Arabia said Monday deaths due to coronavirus incrased to 38 while number of infections stood at 2,523 cases.
Ministry of Health spokesman Dr. Mohammad Al-Abdulaali said four people have passed away from the virus in the past 24 hours to increase fatalities to 38.
Al-Abdulaali also said 121 people tested positive for COVID-19 since yesterday.
He also said 63 people recovered from the virus to increase total recoveries to 551.

Qatar

Qatar Monday registered 228 new coronavirus cases while eight persons recovered from the virus.
Ministry of Health said in a statement total infections rose to 1,832, and the new infectees were placed in quarantine.
It added total recoveries rose to 131

UAE

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) said Sunday one person died of coronavirus to increase fatalities to 11, while 277 people tested positive for the virus to raise number of patients to 2,076.
Director of Department of Health’s Communicable Diseases Department Dr. Farida Al-Hoseni told a news conference that 23 people have also recovered from the virus to make total recoveries 167.
Al-Hoseni said the new death was an Asian national.

Oman

The Sultanate of Oman announced, Monday, the discovery of 33 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of infections to 331.
According to the Oman News Agency (ONA), the number of cases recovering from the coronavirus was at 61 with two deaths.

Bahrain

Bahraini Ministry of Health announced Sunday 10 people tested positive for coronavirus to increase registered cases to 267.
A ministry statement said four persons recovered from the virus to 427.
It added that three of the cases were in intensive care unit.
