To that end, related sources told the daily the General Administration of Customs is working on issuing new circulars regarding goods coming from China, and setting up a special mechanism to deal with them, with the aim of speeding up the procedures for releasing imported goods, in cooperation with many concerned authorities headed by the Ministry of Health.

The sources pointed out that customs, following the announcement of the spread of the coronavirus, have tightened the health procedures for releasing any shipments coming from China, to ensure the virus is not transmitted through these goods
