KUWAIT CITY, March 29: The Kuwait Municipality will make an announcement soon regarding the barbecue areas in public parks and coastlines, says Director General of the Municipality Ahmad Al-Manfouhi.
In a press statement, Al-Manfouhi disclosed that representatives from the concerned authorities such as the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR), Environment Public Authority (EPA) and Touristic Enterprises Company (TEC) will meet in the coming days to discuss the issue.
He said the Municipality has formed a committee tasked to recommend barbecue areas in accordance with the new Environment Law. He also denied the alleged plan to impose fees for using such areas
