KUWAIT CITY, March 27: State Audit Bureau revealed that the Ministry of Public Works does not have a clear vision for implementing projects, and causes the state to incur millions of dinars in losses, reports Al-Jarida daily. It stressed the need for the ministry to implement projects as per studied plans to avoid similar defects in previous projects.

It noted about 31 violations were registered against the ministry for not complying with relevant regulations and procedures, besides its sluggishness in collecting accumulated dues. It also explained that the cost of establishing, operating and maintaining Al-Aqeela pump station and the affiliated drainage pipelines increased from KD 28.831 million to about KD 38.267 million
