KUWAIT CITY, July 29: MP Fayez Al-Jomhour forwarded queries to Minister of Defense Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al- Ali about the complaints that he received from citizens regarding the problems they are facing while using Kuwait Mosafer application; as well as suspicions surrounding financial and administrative issues. He asked for information about the company which launched Kuwait Mosafer application, date of the company’s establishment and its owners.

He requested for a copy of the contract between the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and the company. He wants to know if DGCA floated a public tender to launch the application and then chose the lowest offer, if DGCA is supervising the application directly or indirectly, if DGCA intends to terminate the contract and cancel the application, legal and financial consequences of such procedures.
