MP Askar Al-Enezi

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 24: MP Askar Al-Enezi says he is surprised by the decision of Ministry of Health to transfer 130 male and female nurses from the Medical Emergency Department to Ahmadi Health Zone and Amiri Hospital as well as relieve 29 nurses of their work at Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital’s Emergency Department.

In a press release, the lawmaker urged Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Bassel Al-Sabah to reconsider the decision, insisting that it has negative implications on the affected nurses and will lead to cancellation of some allowances that they were entitled to.

He insisted that the decision will affect the social and family status of those nurses, stressing that they are qualified officials who have proven their competency over the years. Al-Enezi added that many of these nurses live very far from their places of work.
