Move to install e-car chargers

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 28: A source in the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy revealed that requests for electric car chargers will begin to be received on December 4, through the ministry’s website, indicating that the service will be available from Nov 26, on experimental basis, reports Al- Jarida daily.
The source told the daily the ministry, through its teams, will approve these chargers, by examining them and following up on the extent to which their owners comply with the conditions set for them, in order to preserve the integrity of the electrical network, and for the owners of those chargers, adding that the ministry will issue citations if it discovers use of charges not approved by the ministry.
