Mortuaries in Kuwait sanitized

KUWAIT, June 24: Kuwait Municipality announced today, Wednesday, that it has sterilized all mortuaries facilities in the State of Kuwait in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense.

Dr. Faisal Al-Awadi, said in a statement that the aim of this measure is to preserve safety of the families of the deceased, mourners, and employees in all five mortuaries in Kuwait.

Al-Awadi explained that cooperation of Ministry of Defense it comes within the framework of the municipality’s cooperation with the relevant government agencies to face the repercussions of the emerging Corona Virus pandemic (Covid 19) based on the decisions and circulars of the Cabinet and the Ministry of Health.

He stressed that the funeral affairs department does not spare an effort to continue to work to preserve the health and safety of everyone by taking all necessary preventive measures and measures from the beginning of the pandemic until today (KUNA) –
