More cigarettes seized at border

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 31: Customs officers at the Nuwaiseeb border post have foiled the attempt of a Saudi man to smuggle 179 cartons of cigarettes into the Kingdom, reports Annahar daily. Security sources said the cartons were hidden in secret compartments of his vehicle. The car has been impounded, the cartons have been confiscated and the smuggler has been referred to the authorities
