‘Mohammed’ most commonly name used in Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 17: Recent statistics issued by the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) show the name ‘Mohammed’ is the most commonly used name in Kuwait, followed by Abdullah, Abdulrahman, Khalid and Ali, while among the women ‘Fatima’ is the most commonly used name followed by Mariam, Sarah, Nora and Munira, reports Al-Rai daily.

The statistics, published by PACI on its website show the longest-living male among the Kuwaitis is 115 years old while the longest living female citizens us 119 years old while the longest non-Kuwaiti living male is 113 years and female 118 years.

In terms of the highest number of people from a single community living in Kuwait are Indians, followed by Egyptians, Bangladeshis, Filipinos and Syrians
