MoE receives medical supplies in preparation for ‘Grade 12’ exams

KUWAIT CITY, May 4: The Director of the Supplies and Stores Department at the Ministry of Education, Matrouk Al-Mutairi, said 8 sites have been identified to receive supplies related to health in preparation for the second semester exams for the secondary stage 2020/2021 through coordination with the Ministry of Health. He confirmed the start of the distribution of materials necessary for health requirements, including masks and sterilizers, in addition to thermometers to school districts, administrations, and religious education, in preparation for the Grade 12 paper exams.

Al-Mutairi said in a statement to Al-Seyassah daily that the quantities provided by the Ministry of Health as part of its support for paper-exams preparations for Grade 12 was 1,000 thermometers, 125,000 face mask packets and 150,000 sterilizers distributed over 8 specific locations in 6 educational areas. He explained the items are distributed to the examination committees according to their daily needs when the students answer their exams.

Al-Mutairi clarified that a working group has been formed from the Department of Supplies and Stores and the Public Education Sector represented by the educational areas to provide supplies in each educational zone which will be received by a liaison officer. He pointed out that the distribution of the materials necessary for the implementation of the preventive requirements will be according to the statements that will be prepared by the public education sector, and then each educational zone will distribute these materials to the schools and committees working in the respective areas.
