MoE may hire teachers locally

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 9: The Ministry of Education is in the process of opening the door for local hiring of teachers in December, at the same time confirming the arrival of 250 Palestinian teachers who were granted direct contract in schools after the ministry completed the procedures for their appointment with other government agencies, reports Al-Rai daily.

The sources said that “the teachers who have expressed their inability to join does not exceed 8, and that 69 male and female teachers are from Ramallah alone.”

The sources noted that the Israeli authorities “have released one of the 12 teachers who were prevented from leaving the Palestinian territories and he is one of the teachers that will join the other teachers in Kuwait. According to the sources the teacher is in Cairo right now and he will arrive in Kuwait soon to join to his colleagues.”
