KUWAIT CITY, Nov 20: Palestinian teachers that the Ministry of Education hired recently failed to enroll their children in Kuwait’s schools like their other expatriate colleagues and these children are still in their homes without studying although their parents have started working, reports Al- Anba daily quoting sources from the educational sector.

Sources attributed this issue to non-completion of residency procedures for these new Palestinian teachers. Sources ruled out the possibility of completing such procedures within the first semester as it takes time to finalize everything related to the residency of these teachers.

Once the residency procedures are completed, the children of these teachers will be allowed to enroll next semester. The students will then be required to take tests in the second semester with the full curricula according to applicable bylaws and regulations, sources added.
