KUWAIT, May 27: The Kuwait Ministry of Commerce and Industry monitored 64 cooperatives, supermarkets, shops and pharmacies and 74 food catering branches during its inspection rounds to ensure the smooth flow of sales and delivery of foodstuffs to their beneficiaries, and to determine the extent of their commitment and to maintain the stability of product prices.

The ministry said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) today, Tuesday, that its inspection teams' rounds are continuing their work, in light of the decisions in place regarding the relevant procedures to face the repercussions of the spread of Corona Virus (SARS Cove-2) infection that causes the disease (Covid-19).

Emergency center had received 277 complaints via the hotline (135), stressing the need to adhere to the law due to exceptional circumstance the country is going through, and that it will be its lookout for those who who misuses and exploit the current circumstance. (KUNA) -
