MoCI in bid to curb commercial cheating

KUWAIT CITY, June 7: Minister of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) Dr Yousef Al-Ali affirmed that the Trade Monitoring and Consumer Protection Sector is consistently working to curb commercial cheating and to control the prices of commodities to ensure their availability without artificial prices, reports Al- Seyassah daily.

Dr Al-Ali added the ministry inspectors have been going around the country urging consumers to cooperate with the ministry by calling hotline number 135 whenever they discover any discrepancy.

Meanwhile, the minister congratulated HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al- Sabah and HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah on the occasion of Ramadan. He also extended greetings to the executive authority, legislative authority, Kuwaitis, expatriates, Arab and Muslim Ummahs, and prayed for Allah Almighty to grant the country many happy returns of the auspicious month.
