Mobile groceries, Ice-cream carts impounded

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 12: The Public Cleanliness and Road Works Department in the Jahra Municipality branch carried out several field tours in the areas of Saad Al-Abdullah, Qairawan, Al-Nahda, Al- Subiya and Kabd, with security support from the Ministry of Interior, to remove all that distorts the aesthetic view and works including abandoned vehicles, reports Al-Qabas daily.

The tours resulted in the seizure of 26 mobile groceries and 15 ice cream carts, which were sent to the municipality’s reservation site after taking legal measures and issuing warnings to their owners. The Director of the Department in the Governorate’s Municipality Branch, Muhammad Al-Jaba’a, explained that the field tours that were carried out came within the framework of the municipality’s interest in raising the level of hygiene in all regions in all governorates.

He pointed out that the inspectors working at all hygiene centers and road occupancy and follow-up of street vendors in the governorate continue their field tours to monitor and follow up violators of the laws and regulations in force in the municipality and take legal action against them.
