KUWAIT CITY, Nov 15: One year after the Ministry of Education started implementation of the new integrated system imposed by Civil Service Commission (CSC) on all government institutions, the ministry is still facing several problems in that regard, reports Al-Jarida daily.

The daily quoting a source explained the salaries of newly appointed expatriate teachers have been hanging, indicating it became impossible for almost two months to disburse their salaries.

The ministry has since resorted to paying salaries from petty cash until the issue is resolved. He said the ministry is confronted by other problems, chief among them is lack of job titles for many school principals and supervisors, in addition to jobs that went missing during transfer of data from the old system to the new one, which led to the suspension of salaries and increments for the affected staff for several months.
