‘Minimum salary of KD 500 set to sponsor wife and children visa’

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 24: Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior Lt Gen Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah has issued a decision to increase the minimum salary for foreigners residing in Kuwait to 500 if they wish to sponsor wife and children, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to the decision the text of the first paragraph of Article 1 of the Ministerial Decision No. 3384/2016 referred to now reads as follows: For dependent visa, the monthly salary of the sponsor shall not be less than KD 500 and this salary shall be determined by the work contract on which he/ she was granted residence in the country.
