‘Midbaj Al-A’ed’ achieves series of wins at Horse Racing Cup

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 19: In the 3rd Hunting and Equestrian Club Horse Racing Cup, the horse “Midbaj Al-A’ed” achieved a series of wins in the second week. It won the Martyrs Cup by coming first in the 1,800-meter race within 1:57:00 minutes. In second place was the horse “Flash Memory”, followed by the horse “Captain” in the third place.

The winners were honored by the Secretary of the club Sheikh Sabah Al-Fahad, who expressed appreciation and gratitude to the winners.

He also thanked the Arabian Horse Center, headed by the Undersecretary of the Amiri Diwan Sheikha Sarah Al-Fahad, for their support.

Meanwhile, the horse “Hala Shamah” won the 4th meet for locally-bred horses by winning the 1,600-meter race within 1:46:06 minutes. The horse “Warid Mursala” won the 1,400-meter race within 1:47:5 minutes. In the 1,800-meter race, the horse “Al-Muhtawi” won by finishing the race in 1:58:01 minutes. The first to finish the 1,000-meter race was the horse “Fuad” within few seconds to a minute.

Also, Secretary of the Hunting and Equestrian Club took the opportunity to offer condolences, on his behalf and on behalf of the club, to the UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan over the death of his brother Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President’s Representative, who passed away on Monday.
