Mentally ill Kuwaiti consumes 200 tablets

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 2: An unidentified Kuwaiti who tried to end his life by consuming 200 tablets of some kind was rushed to the Mubarak Al- Kabir Hospital by his African wife and admitted to the intensive care unit, reports Al-Rai daily. It is believed the man has a file at the Psychiatric Hospital and when his wife found him weak and fatigued, she rushed him to the hospital where it was discovered that he had swallowed the pills to end his life. Such a situation affects people with mental illness and has left its effects on his health, said the daily quoting his wife. A case of suicide attempt has been filed at one of the hospitals in the Hawalli Governorate. The husband will be referred for interrogation
