Medical tests of expats in GCC

KUWAIT CITY, May 28: Kuwait will host the meeting of the Gulf Central Committee for the Medical Examination of Expatriates in the GCC on Tuesday under the patronage of Health Minister Sheikh Dr Sheikh Basel Al-Sabah.

Assistant Undersecretary for Dentistry Affairs Dr Yousif Al- Dowairi explained that the formation of the committee — one of the important panels in the GCC Health Ministers Council — is in line with the decision of the Supreme Council and GCC Health Ministers Council to coordinate efforts in the medical examination of expatriate employees.

In light of the latest developments in the Gulf region, the committee will tackle the proposed establishment of new examination centers, closure of some existing centers and laboratory tests for viral infections.
