‘Mandoub’ forges docus, gets extra visas; Egyptian woman cheats compatriot

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 9: Personnel from the Residence Affairs Department are investigating how a farm which is eligible to employ 115 workers could get visas for 200 persons, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, during interrogation the owner of the farm denied knowledge and pointed a finger of accusation at the company’s Arab representative, who he said, might have forged the documents. When the representative was confronted with proof, he admitted to using fake documents to change the assessment figure.

  Woman swindled: Police are looking for an Egyptian woman for swindling a female compatriot, reports Al-Anba daily. The con woman reportedly lured the victim to join her business and escaped with KD 5,000. A case has been registered at Fintas Police Station. Meanwhile, police are looking for an unidentified burglar for broke into the apartment of an Egyptian in Mahboula and stole $4,000, his passport and air ticket, reports Al- Anba daily. The Egyptian has filed a complaint with the Fintas Police Station.

Bangladeshi run over: A Bangladeshi suffering from cerebral concussion has been referred to the Jahra hospital, reports Al-Anba daily. He was reportedly run over by an Indian motorist. The Indian has been arrested and referred to the area police station.
