Woman hurt in accidentKUWAIT CITY, Feb 26: A Jordanian national Yasser Mohammad Al-Hajj has been stuck at the border between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia for two weeks because he delayed in entering Kuwait and his residence permit expired, reports Al-Rai daily. Al-Hajj decided to go on a hunger strike after Kuwait did not permit him to enter the country and asked him to return to Jordan while the Saudi authorities refused him entry because he did not have a valid entry visa. He contacted the daily and said, “Both Kuwaiti and Saudi authorities have refused to allow me to enter the countries even though the Jordanian embassy sent a letter to the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs and requested it to help me. My current situation is difficult as I have no shelter, food or drink. When my sponsor tried to intervene and asked Ministry of Interior to hand over, the Director of Borders refused. Therefore, I am going ona hunger strike to make sure the concerned authorities get my message and solve my problem”.

 Woman hurt in accident:  A Kuwaiti lady suffered injuries in different parts of the body after her car toppled on the Fourth Ring Road. Security sources said the Operation Room received information about the incident and dispatched a rescue team to the scene. They managed to remove her from the car. She was referred to the Sabah General Hospital. Meanwhile in an unrelated incident, police officers from Jahra Security Command shot dead a fox in Kabd area. The animal is said to have frightened people at camping sites in Kabd desert. Security sources said a Kuwaiti citizen reported to the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry that she spotted a fox in Kabd area. Upon arrival to the scene, the officers spotted the wild animal and gave it a chase after it was identified as a fox.
