Action from the 22nd Martyrs Ramadan Futsal Tournament

KUWAIT CITY, May 22: Excitement was in the air during the second day of the 22nd Martyrs Ramadan Futsal Tournament being organized by Jabriya Cooperative Society at Mohammed Ismail Al-Ghanim School Hall in Jabriya area. According to a press release, the first match witnessed the victory of Martyr Yousef Malallah team against Martyr Abbas Al-Foudri with a score of 2-0.

The match was thrilling and featured superstars such as Ahmad and Abdul Nabi Al-Feraj, Fadel Ahmad and Abdullah Al-Shamali who attracted much of the attention during the match. Also, Martyr Mohammed Safari team triumphed over Abdulaziz Al- Majadi team with a score of 2-0 in another exciting match.

Furthermore, Martyr Fahad Al-Ahmad team defeated Mohammed Ashkanani team by 2-1 in a very tough game in which the former squandered several chances to score. The last match of the day witnessed the Martyr Maitham Al-Mouli team outdo Martyr Mohammed Al-Durra team with a score of 3-0. The tournament will continue on Tuesday with the defending champions Martyr Ahmad Qabazard team entertaining the black horse of the last edition — Martyr Mohammed Hamza team.

This will be followed by a difficult encounter between Ahmad Qambar team and Fouad Dashti team. In other matches, Martyr Ali Al-Qallaf team will meet Ahmad Al-Hattab team, and Martyr Khalil Al-Bloushi team will lock horns with Sana Al-Foudri team. Meanwhile, board member and Secretary of Jabriya Cooperative Society Saleh Al- Kandari said the standard of performance of the participating teams has been gradually improving as the tournament gets momentum on the third and fourth days. He affirmed that the audience has been enjoying the exciting games and the daily draws being organized with lots of valuable prizes that have added fl avor to the tournament.
