Loaf of bread break the ban

KUWAIT CITY, May 13: For the sake of bread, the ban was broken. This is how the situation appeared in a number of bachelor areas. After numerous complaints by expats about the lack of bread and difficulty in obtaining it in Khaitan and Farwaniya area and the shortage of gas in Jleeb Al-Shuyukh, government agencies worked in coordination with the civil defense to provide these needs.

The internal streets of Khaitan and Al-Farawaniyah witnessed a breaking of the total lockdown at noon when the bread trucks of the Mills Company arrived, as expats queued in a long queue to obtain the bread in the presence of the security men.

Only 5 bags per person were distributed,expats confirmed that it was distributed to the entire queue who came to get bread in Farwaniya.

As for Khaitan, the numbers were larger and the bachelors largely gathered in front of the bread vehicle as security men oversaw to obtain the need.

In Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, vehicles equipped with the Ministry of Affairs in cooperation with the Civil Defense and the Interior distributed the gas cylinders to those who needed them in the evening.
