Barrels of liquor

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 1: An Asian expatriate was arrested for manufacturing alcohol inside his apartment. According to security sources, Farwaniya securitymen kept a tab on the suspect after noticing a number of Asian expatriates going to the apartment and leaving with liquor bottles. Securitymen raided the apartment and found barrels of locally manufactured liquor. The suspect was arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.

Dead drunk on road: Police have arrested an Indian for consuming alcohol, reports Al-Rai daily. The arrest came when pedestrians in Hadiya called the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior after they saw the man lying on the pavement of a road. When police approached the Indian he tried in vain to get up and escape. At the time of arrest the man was high on alcohol. Police records show he was reported ‘absconding’ by his sponsor
