KUWAIT CITY, Feb 2: A 16-year old Lebanese juvenile, identified as Mohammad Emad Ahmad, lodged a complaint at Saad Al- Abdullah Police Station against his Afghan colleague who works with him in Amghara Scrapyard, accusing the latter of sodomizing him, reports Al-Rai daily.
However, the victim’s father, identified as Emad Ahmad, who was summoned for interrogations, said the incident is fabricated as a way for his son to avoid going for work in Amghara Scrapyard. The father praised the ethics and moral principles of the Afghan man, affirming his good reputation. Based on the father’s account, securitymen wanted to refer his son to the Juveniles Prosecution but he was eventually released after the father pleaded with them to let his son go.
After interrogations and the release of his son, the father said, “I took my son home and punished him by tying his hands with a rope but he managed to escape and run away from home at 12am”. He added that he urged his son to return home and promised not to punish him.
