CHUNCHEON, Jun 23: Hanan Al Nasser won a bronze medal at the 2022 Asian Taekwondo Championship held in Chuncheon, South Korea. Hanan won against tough competitors from South Korea and Iran. The training of Kuwaits taekwondo team is supervised by the Korean coach Gong Park and the national coach, Munif Al-Daihani.
The Asian Taekwondo Championship is considered the world's biggest after the Olympics and the World Taekwondo Grand Prix. Hanan's accomplishment brings Kuwait into the limelight of major international taekwondo competition for the first time in 18 years.
