Kuwait’s Burabea shows his ‘class’

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 22: Kuwaiti jet skier and current champion who represented the Sea Club Team at the second round of UAE Jet Ski Championship 2017 Mohammad Burabea came first in the Senior Pro Ski GP category, winning the top trophy.

In a press release, the club disclosed that Kuwaiti representatives in the championship, which ended on Saturday in Dubai, proved their mettles to their fellow competitors by winning seven trophies.

In addition to the most significant trophy won by Burabea, his colleague Salem Al-Mutawa won a trophy after coming second in the Expert R/A Limited category.

Zaid Al-Zaidi came second in the Novice Ski Stock category, while the promising star Khalid Al-Bnay came fourth in the same category.

Nawaf Al-Farhan defied all odds to occupy fifth position in the Pro-AM R/A Ski category, while Abdulaziz Matar Ali came fifth in the Freestyle category and Bader Al-Shatti was fifth in the Junior R/A Ski category.

The team had previously won four trophies during the first round of the championship held last week at Kaser Sea Beach in Abu Dhabi.
