A 25-year old Kuwaiti citizen drowned while swimming in the beach in Bneid Al-Gar area near a popular restaurant. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information that a citizen drowned in the beach, a team from Salmiya Marine Rescue Station led by Captain Ismail Al-Khazal rushed to the location and carried out an extensive search operation in the area under the supervision of the Director of Salmiya Marine Rescue Station Lieutenant Colonel Hamad Bu Dostour. They eventually managed to recover the corpse and referred it to the Forensics Department.

Inestigations have been launched in this regard. Meanwhile, the remains of an unidentified Korean who was run over by an Egyptian woman, have been referred to Forensics, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, the victim was run over when he was crossing a road in Al-Rai. The man reportedly died on the spot. As soon as the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior received a call, paramedics and police rushed to the spot and found the man dead lying in a pool of blood. The motorist has been referred to the Andalus Police Station.
