KUWAIT CITY, Dec 5: Kuwait Music Academy’s students and teachers crowned challenging year 2021 with great success. KMA participants won twelve first prizes and five second prizes at the Gulf Musician Idol Competition held in Bahrain in November. Bahrain Harmony Music Center lead by Mrs. Director Olha Kochura announced Gulf Musician Idol Competition in November 2021. Competitions were held in various instrumental and vocal categories as well as in different age groups, from the beginners up to adults superior category. International jury comprising experienced musicians judged hundreds of live-record performances of young talents from Gulf region.

Kuwait Music Academy was represented at the jury panel by its manager, acclaimed pianist Karol Masternak and talented multi-instrumentalist Victor Shramko. The jury faced difficult challenge to judge young talents because of their very high quality of performances. The most promising participants were qualified to final round. Results were disclosed on Saturday, Nov 27. It was a very happy news for participants from Kuwait as well as proud moment for their teachers, families and school – Kuwait Music Academy.

Some of the students who won prizes at the Bahrain Musician Idol Competition and earlier at the Int’l Gulf Chopin Competition, held in March-April 2021 have received recommendation to several international universities and institutes, also in US and Europe. Kuwait Music Academy and their co-founders, Mrs Fajer Al-Mazidi and Prof. Cezary Owerkowicz congratulate its students for their great achievement, bringing glory to their school, but also renown to Kuwait as a country of talented youngsters as well as educational and musical center in the Gulf region
