Kuwaiti women happier then male counterparts

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 28: Kuwaiti women are happier than their male counterparts such that 7.3 out of 10 Kuwaiti women and 7 out of 10 Kuwaiti men are happy, reports Al- Qabas daily. According to a scientific study conducted by the daily, 8.3 out of 10 Kuwaiti citizens understand the value of life and the importance of their actions; this rate is higher among women than men.

Indicating a link among the housing district, the gender and the general level of happiness, the study revealed that the people of the fifth housing district are the happiest and the people of the first housing district are the least happy. It also revealed that 8 out of 10 Kuwaitis are satisfied with their lives, a proportion that is quite high compared to similar statistics in other countries such as UK where 7.5 out of 10 citizens are satisfied.
