Kuwaiti woman stabbed by ex-husband

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 18: An unidentified Kuwaiti woman who was stabbed by her ex-husband following a dispute between them has been admitted to the intensive care unit of the Adan Hospital, reports Al-Rai daily quoting security sources.

The daily added, the incident happened in the suburb of Mubarak Al-Kabir. The suspect, a Kuwaiti, allegedly barged into the home of the victim and was involved in a heated argument with the victim, following which he lost control, pulled out a knife and stabbed his ex-wife.

When the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior received a report on the incident police and paramedics rushed to the spot arrested the suspect and rushed the bleeding woman to the hospital. A case of attempted murder has been filed against the suspect. The investigations into the incident will be completed after the woman is discharged from hospital
