Kuwaiti woman and her brother held for assaulting school teacher

KUWAIT CITY, April 2: Police have seized a Kuwaiti woman and her brother, believed to be a detective working for the Criminal Investigations Department for assaulting the teacher of the Farwaniya High School, reports Al-Anba daily.

A police source said the woman went to the school with her brother to inquire about a teacher who had intervened in a fight between her son and a schoolmate. The mother argued with the teacher and her brother controlled him and she removed her shoes and pushed them inside the mouth of the teacher.

The mother and her brother shall be referred to the Public Prosecution. The woman will then be submitted to the Sentences Enforcement Department because she had been sentenced in absentia in KD 26,000 financial fraud.
