Kuwaiti trio held in theft

KUWAIT CITY, May 13: Three Kuwaitis have been arrested and detained at the Mina Abdullah Police Station on the charges of stealing the contents of a caravan which was parked near the Zour Chalets, reports Al-Anba daily.

The owner of the caravan Malek Al-Karfan, born in 1993 and resident of Rumaithiya told the police he was heading to his caravan and he saw two men fleeing in four-wheel drive when they saw him.

After the police started looking for the suspects, they found the vehicle caught in sand off King Fahd Road. Police seized one man who was near the vehicle and two others (Kuwaitis) who were hiding under the vehicle. Police are looking for fourth man. In the meantime, the vehicle has been pulled out of sand and towed to the Mina Abdullah Police Station.
